Visit to Neanderthal Museum in Mettman

The Eugène Dubois Foundation held its board meeting on 4 December 2014 at the Neanderthal Museum in Mettman, Germany.

We were all delighted about the publication in Nature this week of the important research study that once again put Eugène Dubois’ work in Java at the end of the 19th century in the limelight: “Homo erectus made world’s oldest doodle 500,000 years ago”

Among others, we discussed the activities we plan to organise in the coming months in collaboration with Prof. Frans de Waal in the framework of the Eugène Dubois chair at Maastricht University.
